Young Leaders Giving Circle

Why join the Young Leaders Giving Circle (YLGC)?

A giving circle is a group of people whose members pool their charitable donations and decide together where to allocate their money. YLGC is a community of 10-20 young women who will learn about each other’s values and interests, make decisions together, and have an expanded impact. Giving circle members will learn about strategic grant making, research local organizations who use a gender lens, and collectively decide where to donate over $2,000.

Giving as leading

Supporting an organization that reflects your values is an important form of leadership – it demonstrates commitment to those values and sets an example for those around you. Joining YLGC is a meaningful way to strengthen our community while connecting to like-minded women.

Each member will contribute a minimum of $250 which must be paid by September 21 . The learning and grant-making process will take place over 3 meetings; attendance at all meetings is mandatory. Meetings are held from 5:30 – 7PM at the JWF office on Sept. 26, Oct. 16, and Nov. 13.
