JWF Launches New Teen Program!

What is No Small Change?
No Small Change is a philanthropic leadership program that brings together a group of up to 20 high school students who will learn and fundraise together and collectively decide how to award over $10,000 to local organizations doing important social justice work. This program will be both a fun and meaningful way to make an impact in our community while also earning 30 community service hours.

Who Should Apply?
Jewish young men and women in 9th-12th grade who live in Palm Beach County and want to work together with other teens and learn about the power of thoughtful giving.

A skilled professional will facilitate group meetings and bring in guest speakers and experts for specific programs. Teens will meet once a month on Sunday afternoons from October through April, with an end of year celebration in May.

Topics include:

  • Jewish values & giving
  • Gender equality & social justice
  • Understanding philanthropy & how non-profits work
  • What is strategic grant making?
  • What is a giving circle?

Parents are also invited to participate in selected sessions.

Space is limited; applications are due by September 23. To view the application with details, click here. Forward to friends!
