In response to the impact of the coronavirus, which is exacerbating existing challenges many women and girls in our community are already facing, JWF has established the COVID-19 Recovery Fund to provide additional support to our current local grantees.
Our amazing grantees continue to provide counseling, training programs, legal support, abuse prevention education, and other services to address gender based violence and employment issues, but many of their clients have also suffered job loss or reduced wages and can’t meet their basic needs.
Our goal is to raise as much as we can before June 1st to provide emergency funds to the following organizations:
- Aid to Victims of Domestic Abuse (AVDA)
- The Alliance for Eating Disorders Awareness
- Compass LGBTQ Community Center
- Delores Barr Weaver Policy Center
- DePorres Place Adult Literacy Center
- KidSafe Foundation
- The Lord’s Place
- PACE Center for Girls Palm Beach
Grantees will use these emergency grants to provide food, housing assistance, gift cards, baby items, counseling services, and other critical support to the women and girls they serve.
These are difficult times for everyone, but for some more than others.
Please help the women and girls in our community who need it most by donating today. Gifts of any amount will make a difference. Donate online or by calling our office at (561) 275-2200.
Thank you in advance for your generosity!
